Ingliz tili
Matn: so'z ma'nosi va olmosh
Matn ichidagi noma'lum so'zning ma'nosi kontekstdan topiladi. Olmoshlar (it, they, this, which) qaysi otga tegishli ekanini aniqlash kerak.
Olmoshning kimga tegishliligini topish
Olmoshdan oldingi mos otni toping, son va jins bo'yicha moslab:
| Olmosh | Nimaga tegishli |
|---|---|
| it | birlikdagi narsa |
| they | ko'plik (odamlar yoki narsalar) |
| who | odam |
| which | narsa |
Misol: Karim planted three apple trees. They grew quickly. "They" ko'plik, eng yaqin ko'plikdagi ot: the apple trees. Karim yakka, shuning uchun u bo'lolmaydi.
Olmosh har doim eng yaqin otga emas. Son va ma'noga tekshiring: ayrim gaplarda olmosh avvalgi gapdagi otga qaytadi.

Misol matn: Anna bought a new laptop last week. It was expensive, but she was sure it would last for years. Her brother, who is a programmer, told her that it was a wise purchase.
- It (2-gap) = the laptop, chunki qimmat bo'lgan va yillar xizmat qiladigan narsa shu.
- Wise = sensible (aqlli, oqilona). Kompyuter yillar xizmat qiladi, demak xarid ijobiy.
- Who (oxirgi gap) = her brother, who odamga tegishli, uning dalili kasb: a programmer.
which narsaga, who odamga qaytadi. Olmoshdan keyingi qism (a programmer) kimga tegishliligini ko'rsatadi.
